Yap Boon Jhoe
Yap Boon Jhoe, the Managing Partner of KNT, is highly accomplished. Having graduated with an LLB (Hons.) from the University of Liverpool in 2014 and called to both the English Bar (Middle Temple) in 2016 and the Malaysian Bar in 2018, he possesses in-depth knowledge and skill in civil litigation, with a particular focus on disputes in contracts, construction, tenancy, energy supply (TNB matters), industrial relations, enforcement proceedings, and family law. Clients seek Jhoe for his tenacity and practical approach in dispute resolution. Besides civil matters, he also handles criminal matters involving Penal Code offences.

After having undergone an internship and pupillage with the firm from 2015 to 2017 and being retained as a Legal Associate in 2018, he was appointed Managing Partner in November 2022.
Often described as an all-rounder, Jhoe competes in badminton for the Malaysian Bar and Kuala Lumpur Bar and is an active member of Yayasan Bantuan Guaman Kebangsaan (YBGK) and the Malaysian Bar’s National Young Lawyers and Pupils Committee.
