KNT was founded by Ngiam Kee Tong in 1984, who later handed over the reins to Khushwant Dhanoa in 2005 as Managing Partner. In November 2022, Yap Boon Jhoe was appointed the new Managing Partner. This leadership transition reflects the firm’s commitment to continuously improve and adapt to the changing needs of its clients whilst retaining the skills and experience of its previous leadership of Ngiam Kee Tong and Khushwant Dhanoa, who respectively remain as the firm’s Consultant and Executive Partner.
As KNT celebrated its 40th anniversary in 2024, the firm remains committed under a new leadership to preserving its rich heritage of legal talent, and to reaching greater heights in years to come.
